How to become an ODBP Educator:

  • Have a knack for uplifting young people.

  • Skilled as a coach, guide, trainer, mentor, etc.

  • A background in education. Non-traditional educators preferred. Any and all personal, professional, and educational experiences will be considered holistically. 

  • Email dom@offdabeatenpath.com. Include some information on yourself, your wants and needs as a professional educator, and what brought you here. Attach your resume and/or CV.

  • Set up a 30-60 minute introductory meeting.

  • Finish 260-hour ODBP paid training and obtain a certificate of completion. 🎉

How to BE an ODBP Educator:

  • Match with one or more ODBP learner(s). 2-3 learners max for the first 6 months,

  • 🚀 Lift off 🚀 

  • Weekly 1-on-1 meetings with ODBP Learners, 

  • Mentorship and professional development,

  • Attend events and connect with other ODBP people (learners, families, educators),

  • Empower, celebrate, support, question, laugh with, listen to, and observe learners, kindergarten through undergraduate,

  • Connect learners to the world and to themselves, in ways that are best suited for their beautiful rarity,

  • Engage in life-altering work for you and the people you serve.
